To help facilitate their growth strategy, we were tasked with developing and building the Smarta platform to help budding entrepreneurs and SMEs with business advice, free resources and training. To accompany the platform build, the team was also tasked with running SEO and PPC campaigns to raise awareness and drive conversions.

Our digital transformation team developed a bespoke, Laravel-based platform to support and facilitate the growth journey of small business owners. The platform enables business owners to create an account and access support across several areas including finance, business profile, business support products, funded training etc.

The portal allows members to sign up and self-serve, accessing support in the areas that are most relevant to them. The platform currently integrates with a number of services (API’s) to automate and enhance both the user experience and the management of the platform to keep communication streamlined and consistent whilst providing crucial insight and data directly into CRM. The success of the initial launch has allowed us to enhance and build upon the platform and provide us with the opportunity to grow the community.

The SEO and PPC activity focused on raising awareness of the brand launch and we used remarketing and display advertising campaigns to drive awareness of the brand and upcoming promotions (webinars, events and special offers). SEO activity included creating content and generating backlinks in regional media publications in addition to optimising the website’s on-page content.
