Leaders in the professional development sector, Life Ladder required the development of a bespoke self-development portal and website to attract new customers as well as manage the user base and content to support their members on their self-development journey. To maximise brand awareness and sign-ups to the platform, we were tasked with launching a series of campaigns to generate engagement.

Our strategy team held a series of workshops that examined Life Ladder’s target personas and identified key brand differentiators as the project starting point. Following the creation of the refreshed branding, we clarified key messages and created brand assets, including a suite of animations to reinforce key benefits, to drive brand awareness.

The digital transformation team developed a bespoke website and self-development portal for Life Ladder, to streamline all stages of the conversion process. This portal allows the Life Ladder team to track the users’ platform usage, create centralised reports and monitor all stages of the user journey. In turn, users can create their personalised development journey and monitor their own progress. The platform is an end-to-end personalised coaching solution for individuals to manage their own personal development, working towards achieving their personal and professional life goals.

The third element of the Life Ladder brief was to create a launch campaign that gave teachers free access to the Life Ladder portal during the pandemic. This campaign targeted regional, national and trade media as well as users on Facebook, Instagram and Google through paid advertising. The campaign generated media coverage, backlinks and significant signups through social media advertising to catalyse the growth of the membership.
